Captain Daerkin is a Gnome glider pilot off-duty at the Duel Arena in Al Kharid (Kar-Hewo). He is found on the viewing walls of the Duel Arena near Jadid, rather than near a gnome glider.
Captain Daerkin is a hard customer of the mini-game Gnome Restaurant, notable for the fact that he is one of only two customers (the other being Captain Ninto) who occasionally offer the special tips of a gnome scarf or gnome goggles.
