This official RuneScape update is copyrighted by Jagex. It was a direct quote from the RuneScape main page, but has since been removed.
This update was added on 18 August 2001.

It seems that in certain circumstances the game was still not giving the treasure to the correct player. I have now fixed this problem. Many thanks to the people who reported this.
