A Greater focus can be built as the centrepiece of the Portal Chamber in a player-owned house. It requires 65 Construction and one marble block, and earns the player 500 experience. It is the second centrepiece able to be built in the Portal Chamber, the first being the Teleport focus and the third being the Scrying pool. There is no practical difference between this and the Teleport focus and thus it is not recommended to build this unless the player really wants the different design as marble blocks are expensive to obtain. The greater focus centrepiece resembles a marble square with a floating, translucent purple book above it, with a glowing star circling it.
