The Zombie Champion can only be fought after receiving a Champion's scroll as a part of the Champions' Challenge Distraction and Diversion. He is designated the greatest warrior of the zombie race even though there are higher levelled zombies, such as the Dried zombies in the Kharidian Desert or the Armoured Zombies in the Chaos Temple Dungeon. Special rules are set during the fight, so that you can not use magic attacks against him.
The champion attacks only with melee, at the same speed as daggers. His maximum hit is around 70, so lower levels may need some food (trout or salmon works well). Take some heavy armour such as rune or better. Being a zombie, this monster is weak to slash attacks.
You may not attack with magic attacks but the special attacks from Korasi's sword and Saradomin sword DO work.

Trivia
- Like many other champions in the Champions' Challenge, the Zombie Champion is not the strongest Zombie, there are many higher-level zombies like the armoured zombies in the Chaos Temple Dungeon and the dried zombies at the Kharidian desert which are significantly stronger than the Zombie Champion.
