A Giant bat is an animal that always drops Bat bones. It looks like a bat, but as expected, bigger. They may be substituted for bats, which are given out as Slayer assignments mostly by Mazchna. They don't hit particularly hard for their level, but they are very accurate, so lower-levelled players may need some food. There are also non-attackable giant bats in the Brimhaven Agility Arena. Grinding bat bones into an unfinished guam potion will result in an explosion, destroying the ingredients.

Trivia
- The giant bats in the Brine Rat Cavern are the same size as regular bats. Also, they have a different and more realistic look from the bats in other locations.
