The FloorNumber template places text describing a floor reference on a page using the British style, as well as a note to help the reader interpret the floor reference.

Usage

The first and only parameter for this template is the floor number, using the American style. 1 refers to the ground floor, which is the floor that a person would be on immediately after entering a building whose door is level with the ground. Numbers above 1 refer to successive floors above the ground floor.

This template does not support successive basements, i.e. floors 0 and below.
