Escape is a basic ranged ability. When activated the player leaps 7 squares backwards to help them distance themselves from their target.
Escape shares its cooldown timer with Surge and Barge. When one ability is used, all three need to recharge before any of them can be used.
Despite that the player appears to be leaping backwards, they are registered to be facing the direction they are moving in. For example, if the player uses Escape, then Surge, they would continue to move at the same direction.
