Sister Catherina is an NPC found at Abbey of St. Elspeth Citharede. Players must speak with her in order to start the One Piercing Note quest.
Before the quest she can be found outside the abbey gate. After players speak with Abbess Benita and begin investigation of Sister Anna's murder, she moves into the oratory in the east part of the monastery. When investigating Sister Elena's death, she moves again and can be found at troubadours outside the abbey.
For the first time players have to speak with her during investigation of Sister Anna's murder. At certain point of the dialogue she also asks what happened and players may choose to reveal the truth about murder or to keep it secret.
When moving on to Sister Elena's murder, she is dancing outside at Valerio, because as she says - although the dancing is forbidden for the Order, she hasn't spoken her vows yet. Players are then tasked by Abbess Benita to bring Catherina back to safety within the Abbey walls. She agrees, but on the way she is ambushed and killed by "The Ripper".
Trivia
- Her dialogue is fully voice acted, as with all other NPCs involved in One Piercing Note.
- She is one of the few characters to have fingers.
- Her hair seems to have a different texture to other characters.
- She may be based slightly off of Julie Andrew's character from Sound of Music, Maria, due to her attraction to accidental rebelliousness.
