Vampyrism aura

Vampyrism is an aura available as part of the Members Loyalty Programme and can be purchased from Xuan in Burthorpe, for 23,000 Membership Loyalty Points. This aura causes your successful hits in combat to allow you to regain life points equal to 5% of any damage you deal.

It is activated for one hour and has a recharge time of three hours. Also, as with all auras, if the account using it is logged out while the aura is activated, the timer will continue to run.

When combined with Soul Split, this aura will cause you to regain life points equal to 25% of any damage you deal. It is unknown if this bonus stacks with blood spells from the ancient magicks spell book such as Blood Barrage. However, if it were to, it would theoretically be possible to restore 50% percent of every successful hit, with Soul Split and the aura. This would make it incredibly difficult to take down the player in a PvP minigame where multiple targets can be hit at once, such as Soul Wars. This is yet to be verified, however. This aura's effect is shown to only draw life from one target at a time, whichever was clicked or retaliated against, in both PvP and PvM situations in multi-combat areas. No confirmation on blood spells but it should stack with Soul Split.

It is especially useful when used at Bandits or giant spiders (Stronghold of Security) because you do not need to eat for the hour it is active.

This aura may not be used in the Duel Arena.
