==Scaling System==
===Boss Scaling===
Boss scaling is the central progression mechanic of Ezscape. Players can increase the difficulty and rewards of boss encounters up to scale level 2,000,000,000.
====How Scaling Works====
* Talk to the '''Monk outside Lumbridge Church''' to adjust your scale level
* Each scale level increases:
** Boss stats by '''5%'''
** Boss HP by '''5%'''
** Drop quantities by '''scale × (1 + 0.05) × base amount'''
* Scaling applies to monsters with '''combat level 274 or higher'''
* Lower-level monsters also receive improved drops once scaling reaches higher levels
====Scale Unlocks====
Defeating scaled bosses awards '''Scale Unlock''' codexes:
* Format: "[Current Scale + 1] Scale Unlock"
* Each unlock allows you to increase your maximum scale by 1
* '''Nex''' drops '''10 Scale Unlock''' codexes, allowing rapid scaling progression
====Scaled Equipment====
Bosses drop equipment that scales with your current scale level, providing appropriately powered gear for your progression tier.
==Item Upgrade System==
===Hammering Items===
Items can be permanently upgraded by using a '''hammer''' on them with approximately '''500,000 GP''' in your inventory.
====Upgrade Mechanics====
* Consumes the item to grant permanent stat bonuses
* Bonus percentage depends on item rarity (0-4%)
* Rarer items receive higher percentages
** Example: Dragon Scimitar grants +3.74%
* '''All upgrades are permanent and character-bound'''
* Upgrades apply to '''Weight''' and all relevant combat stats

===Special Attack Transfer===
Special attacks can be extracted from weapons and applied to other weapons of the same combat style.

# Use the book on another weapon '''of the same combat style''' that already has a special attack
# The target weapon gains the extracted special attack
====Special Attack Stacking====
* Multiple special attacks can be stacked on a single weapon
* Example: Apply Dragon Dagger special book to another Dragon Dagger to have two Dragon Dagger specs
* At '''1000% weapon bonus''', special attacks become '''infinite''' (no special attack energy required)
====Compatible Weapons====
Special attacks can be transferred to and from:
* Rune Crossbow
* Armadyl Crossbow
* Royal Crossbow
* Chaotic Staff
* Any weapon with an existing special attack (same combat style required)

==Progression Strategy==
===Early Game (Scale 1-100)===
# Attend Lumbridge Church service daily for stat bonuses
# Configure initial scale level with the Monk
# Farm God Wars Dungeon bosses for codexes and gear
# Start collecting upgrade materials (500k GP per hammer attempt)
# Acquire essential transportation items
===Mid Game (Scale 100-10,000)===
# Focus on specific codex farming based on combat style
# Begin hammering high-tier equipment for percentage bonuses
# Farm Dagannoth Kings for diverse combat codexes
# Accumulate scale unlock codexes to increase max scale
# Build towards 500% bonus weapons for special attack transfers
===Late Game (Scale 10,000+)===
# Farm Nex for rapid scale progression (10 unlocks per kill)
# Stack special attacks on primary weapons
# Maximize codex collections for all relevant stats
# Push for 1000% weapon bonuses for infinite special attacks
# Scale to personal preference for challenge vs. rewards
===Experience Milestones===
Every '''100,000 experience''' gained provides additional bonuses to your character, creating consistent progression incentives beyond level 99.
==Strategy Tips==
===Optimal Codex Farming===
* '''General Graardor''' and '''Commander Zilyana''': Alchemy codexes
* '''Dagannoth Prime''': Magic codexes + defensive bonuses
* '''Dagannoth Rex''': Melee codexes
* '''Dagannoth Supreme''': Ranged codexes
* '''Corporeal Beast''': Prayer + Agility codexes
* '''Nex''': Health codexes + rapid scaling
===Upgrade Priority===
# Upgrade weapons first (direct damage increase)
# Focus on your primary combat style's gear
# Upgrade shields and defensive gear once offensive gear is established
# Collect and hammer duplicate high-tier items for compounding bonuses
===Special Attack Building===
# Choose a high-tier weapon as your "carrier" (e.g., Dragon Claws)
# Farm duplicate special attack sources
# Stack complementary specs (e.g., DDS spec on Dragon Claws for rapid attacks)
# Push carrier weapon to 1000% for infinite special attack energy
===Church Service Optimization===
Attend services consistently to build multiplicative bonuses:
* Day 100: +0.1% to all stats
* Day 365: +0.365% to all stats
* Day 1000: +1% to all stats

Scaling System

Boss Scaling

Boss scaling is the central progression mechanic of Ezscape. Players can increase the difficulty and rewards of boss encounters up to scale level 2,000,000,000.

How Scaling Works

  • Talk to the Monk outside Lumbridge Church to adjust your scale level
  • Each scale level increases:
    • Boss stats by 5%
    • Boss HP by 5%
    • Drop quantities by scale × (1 + 0.05) × base amount
  • Scaling applies to monsters with combat level 274 or higher
  • Lower-level monsters also receive improved drops once scaling reaches higher levels

Scale Unlocks

Defeating scaled bosses awards Scale Unlock codexes:

  • Format: "[Current Scale + 1] Scale Unlock"
  • Each unlock allows you to increase your maximum scale by 1
  • Nex drops 10 Scale Unlock codexes, allowing rapid scaling progression

Scaled Equipment

Bosses drop equipment that scales with your current scale level, providing appropriately powered gear for your progression tier.

Item Upgrade System

Hammering Items

Items can be permanently upgraded by using a hammer on them with approximately 500,000 GP in your inventory.

Upgrade Mechanics

  • Consumes the item to grant permanent stat bonuses
  • Bonus percentage depends on item rarity (0-4%)

  • All upgrades are permanent and character-bound
  • Upgrades apply to Weight and all relevant combat stats

Experience Milestones

Every 100,000 experience gained provides additional bonuses to your character, creating consistent progression incentives beyond level 99.

Strategy Tips

Optimal Codex Farming

  • General Graardor and Commander Zilyana: Alchemy codexes
  • Dagannoth Prime: Magic codexes + defensive bonuses
  • Dagannoth Rex: Melee codexes
  • Dagannoth Supreme: Ranged codexes
  • Corporeal Beast: Prayer + Agility codexes
  • Nex: Health codexes + rapid scaling

Upgrade Priority

  1. Upgrade weapons first (direct damage increase)
  2. Focus on your primary combat style's gear
  3. Upgrade shields and defensive gear once offensive gear is established
  4. Collect and hammer duplicate high-tier items for compounding bonuses

Special Attack Building

  1. Choose a high-tier weapon as your "carrier" (e.g., Dragon Claws)
  2. Farm duplicate special attack sources
  3. Stack complementary specs (e.g., DDS spec on Dragon Claws for rapid attacks)
  4. Push carrier weapon to 1000% for infinite special attack energy

Church Service Optimization

Attend services consistently to build multiplicative bonuses:

  • Day 100: +0.1% to all stats
  • Day 365: +0.365% to all stats
  • Day 1000: +1% to all stats
