Their ranged strength increases with the ranged level of the player equipping them, up to a maximum of +60 at a ranged level of 70. After being shot, they will disappear, meaning that they cannot be retrieved with [[Ava's accumulator|Ava's]] alerter. This is useful if you don't want to use the accumulator, since you won't be tempted to pick up arrows, although wearing the accumulator will still give its +4 ranged bonus. [[Magic shortbow]], [[Magic longbow]], [[Dark bow]], and [[Seercull]] can fire these arrows. Additionally, the [[Saradomin bow]] and [[Guthix bow]] can fire these arrows, although the extra damage chance will be 1/10.<br />
