'''Yak hide armour''' is a type of [[pay-to-play|members-only]] [[armour]] in ''[[RuneScape]]''. The armour is primarily designed to be worn by Warriors. To obtain yak hide armour the player can either make some using the [[Crafting]] skill or trade with another player. It requires level 20 [[Defence]] to wear, and the shield requires level 25 defence. Yak Hide armour is not meant for Player vs Player or Player vs Monster (unless Ice Trolls), its most effective use is in the quest Fremennik Isles and to battle Ice Trolls.

The raw materials are dropped by [[Yak]]s on the [[Fremennik Isles]]. Once a [[yak hide]] has been obtained the player can take it to [[Thakkrad Sigmundson]], who will [[tanned yak hide|tan]] the hides for 5 gp.

When worn, the armour reduces the maximum hit of [[Ice troll male]]s, [[Ice troll grunt|grunts]] and [[Ice troll runt|runts]], and the shield reduces the maximum hit of [[Ice troll female]]s.
