It can also be obtained from them if one right-clicks on them with a pair of shears in their inventory and uses them on a sheep. The most common place for players to get wool is in [[Lumbridge]] as it is also close to a spinning wheel and a bank.

Wool can also be given to a pet [[cat]], and the cat will play with the wool. The player will not get the wool back. However, if done with a ball of wool, the player will get the ball back.
