A '''Woodcutting cape''' can be purchased for 99,000 [[coins]] alongside the [[Woodcutting hood]] from [[Wilfred]] in the wood north-west of Falador by players who have achieved level 99 [[Woodcutting]]. Woodcutting skillcapes are light brown in colour and have a green trim if the player has more than one [[level 99]] skill.

The emote, just like every other skillcape emote, was updated on [[May 25]] [[2010]], adding particles when cutting the tree. {{Skill 99s|Woodcutting}} Operating the cape will give a temporary boost, raising the player's Woodcutting level to 100/99. This effect will wear off after a period of time, but be renewed if operated on again. The woodcutting cape is also one of the most common skillcapes, being easy to get with trees near every major town in RuneScape.
