'''Wizard Vief''' is a member of the [[Runecrafting Guild]]. He also is the leader of the yellow team in the [[The Great Orb Project]] [[activity]]. Players can speak to him to join his team.

The [[Great Orb Project]] activity follows the premise that, when the Runecrafting altars are used, some of the energy in the transfer to the [[rune essence]] is lost and then manifest as yellow or green orbs in the surrounding area. Wizard Vief is of the opinion that [[yellow orb]]s are, as opposed to the [[green orb]]s, the energy in the rune altars that supply magic. Because of this, he believes that the green orbs are useless byproducts that would ultimately pollute the altars.

*Vief didn't receive a face update when all other NPC's and some monsters did.
*When asking Vief why he is certain yellow orbs are correct, part of his explanation cites utilising the 'Lefebvre transform' and Lefebvre equations, a play on words of the mathematical Laplace transforms.
