*Head West and then North to the front door of the house near the boy.
*Search the Northern potted plant.
*Open the door.
*Grab the [[Diary (Witch's House)|diary]] on the table and read it.
*Go into the basement and, while wearing gloves, enter the gate.
*Search the cupboard.
*Go back up the ladder and into the small room to the south.
*Use [[Cheese]] on the Mouse Hole on the Eastern wall.
*Use the [[Magnet (Witch's House)|magnet]] on the mouse.

==Retrieving the Ball==
*Head to the fountain.
