The '''Volatile clay pickaxe''' is one of the possible tools that the [[Volatile tool]] can transform into. The pickaxe gives a 120% experience bonus in the [[Mining]] skill, but reverts back to a [[Volatile clay tool]] after 10% of its charges are used. The pickaxe mines at about the same speed of the [[Rune Pickaxe]], with the experience bonus mentioned above. This tool is not optimal for training a specific skill because the odds of getting the desired tool are low. The [[Volatile clay tool]]s do not give the option to chose which tool you use, and if the player reverts the tool to try to get another, 10% of the charges are lost. If you were to have a Volatile Pickaxe and each time it was formed became a pickaxe again, it would last for aproximately 22k experience. This item can be found on a members world in the [[Stealing Creation]] activity.<br />
