It is obtained as a reward in the [[Pest Control]] and [[Conquest]] [[minigames]] and is sold by the Void Knights for 200 commendation points. This means that it would take around 100 games on the easy boat, 67 on the medium boat, and 50 games on the hard boat to get this helm.<br />

Like other Void Knight equipment, wearing it requires 42 [[Attack]], [[Strength]], [[Defence]], [[Constitution]], [[Ranged]], and [[Magic]], along with 22 [[Prayer]].<br />

When worn with any three of four Void pieces (out of a [[Void knight top|Void Knight top]], [[Void knight robe|robe]], [[Void knight gloves|gloves]], and [[Void Knight deflector|deflector]]), the helm increases Magic accuracy by 30%. This bonus affects Magic ''accuracy'', rather than the Magic ''[[Equipment Stats|attack bonus]]'', and as such it takes a player's Magic level into account when applying the bonus. Players with high Magic levels may therefore find their accuracy boosted substantially by this set, although the Magic attack bonus is still factored into overall accuracy. This is important as Void knight robes themselves do not give any bonuses to Magic attack.<br />
