'''Vesta's chainbody''' is a [[members]]-only chainbody. Upon release, it, along with [[Vesta's plateskirt]] surpassed the [[Bandos chestplate]] and the [[Bandos tassets]] in the maximum [[Strength]] bonus. However, [[Bandos armour]] does not [[Degradation|degrade]], making them far more popular. Despite this, the chainbody is much cheaper to purchase, with additional bonuses to attack unlike the [[Bandos chestplate]], which has moderate defense but not as high as the chainbody.

This chest piece is obtained by killing [[Revenant]]s in the [[Forinthry Dungeon]] and the [[Chaos Elemental]].

It requires a [[Defence]] level of 78 to wear and lasts for 1 hour of combat. Wearing it will not degrade unless you are in combat. The [[Corrupt vesta's chainbody|corrupt version]], however, requires 20 [[Defence]] and lasts for 15 minutes of use. Wearing the corrupt version will make it degrade, even while not in combat. After the time is up, the chainbody will vanish, regardless of which version.

Contrary to popular belief, this item does '''not''' degrade while using '''non-combat''' [[magic]], or while on a non-members world.

Also, using a [[Dragon battleaxe|dragon battleaxe's]] or an [[Excalibur|Excalibur's]] [[special attacks]] will '''not''' degrade pvp armour.
