'''Varmen''' was an archaeologist responsible for the discovery of [[Uzer]], an ancient ruined city that once dominated the [[Kharidian Desert]]. He was employed by the [[Varrock Museum]] and apparently wanted to excavate [[Uzer]] but due to the giant project at the [[Digsite]] being closer to the museum, he was not able to get funding for it. Ellisa was his wife, and refers to him as her late husband, which points out his death, but, however, the circumstances surrounding his death are unknown.

Varmen never appears in-game, although his [[Varmen's notes|notes]] regarding the [[Ruins of Uzer]] and the [[Rock golem]] can be found at the [[Digsite]] [[Exam Centre]].
