*There was a great deal of controversy with the release of Deadliest Catch, owing to her, along with her sisters, being the first NPCs to be partially nude in RuneScape, due to her uncovered breasts. [[Nex]] has since joined them.
*The three mermaids may be a reference to the mythological creatures the 'Sirens'.
*Urchin, like her companions, is homage to the old belief that mermaids lured sailors to their death while out to sea.
