The '''Tyras helm''' is a [[members only]] piece of [[helmet|headwear]]. To wear one, the player must have at least 5 [[Defence]]. Whilst it bears resemblance to a [[steel medium helmet]], it has the same bonuses as a [[steel full helm]]. To obtain a Tyras helm, the player can either buy one from [[Trader Stan's Trading Post]] or from another player. The helm '''cannot''' be smithed.<br />

The price dropped only a few days after the release. This was because although it at first appeared new and exciting, it quickly became seen as inferior to many other helmets.<br />
