'''Troll runts''' are summoned by a [[Troll father (Troll Invasion)|Troll father]] during the [[Troll Invasion]] [[distraction and diversion|D&D]]. They use general melee, and can be considered a low priority, similar to that of the [[Mountain troll (Troll Invasion)|mountain troll]] within the event.

If the troll father is still alive when a troll runt is taken to below half health, the troll father will rapidly heal the runts. For players praying ranged and wish to dispatch the runts before the father, a weapon with a hard hitting special attack is recommended. If you are using weapons that hits more than once with the special attack, for example, the [[dragon dagger]] or the [[dark bow]], strike when they are just healed to prevent them getting healed between the two hits.Luring them to the wall helps too as the archers would hit accurately into the 200s on every target.

They are more dangerous than their size suggests, as they are very accurate and tend to pile the player wherever they go, and they hardly ever get stuck. For players with higher [[defence]], they could potentially be fairly good ranged training as they are healed repeatedly.
