A '''Tree stump''' is the object that is left over when a [[tree]] is cut down. It will stay on the ground until the tree respawns. There is a unique stump for every kind of tree. By using a [[Hydra]] with it, the tree will regrow so that it can be chopped down again (but this can only be done with trees you've grown using the farming skill). In worlds with higher numbers of players, trees will respawn faster, like other resources. If the tree is player-grown, a spade can be used on the stump to retreive tree roots.
