They can be found training on combat [[dummy|dummies]] at the top of [[Varrock Castle]] to become Guards, and all wear the standard Guard uniform for Varrock. They are being trained by the [[Captain (Varrock Palace)|Guard Captain]], who is interactive, and can be found marching up and down, shouting at the guards so they are more disciplined. Unlike most guards, the trainees are not attackable.
