The '''torva platebody''' is a platebody obtainable as a drop from [[Nex]], the [[Zaros]] [[God Wars Dungeon]] boss and is part of the [[Torva armour]] set. It requires 80 [[Defence]], [[Constitution]], and [[Strength]] to be worn. When worn, it increases a player's maximum [[life points]] by 200. This does not increase current life points or constitution level. Wearing this platebody or any other piece of [[ancient armour]] will make all four factions in the [[God Wars Dungeon]] unaggressive.

It lasts for a duration of 10 hours of combat before [[Degradation|degrading]] completely, and then may be repaired by [[Bob (smith)|Bob]] in [[Lumbridge]] or at a [[Player owned house]] [[armour stand]]. It should be noted that the platebody does not degrade in increments, and its stats stay the same until the 10 hours are up. It costs 20,000 coins each percentage (2 million for full repair) to have the platebody repaired at [[Bob's Brilliant Axes]], or 10,000 coins each percentage (1 million for full repair) at an armour stand with 99 [[Smithing]].

Pieces of the torva set are only tradeable when they are fully repaired. At the time of release, repairing the set would leave the individual pieces untradeable, but this has since been fixed. However, for some players, this bug still occurs.

[[Max]], the seller of the max cape can be seen wearing the Torva platebody, along with a pair of [[torva platelegs]], [[max cape]], [[dragon boots]] and a pair of [[Barrows gloves]].
