On the ground floor there is a pub, and on the first floor there are rooms to stay in. Players doing the [[Death Plateau]] quest can find [[Harold]] in the third and last room.<br />

[[Wizard's Mind Bomb]], [[Dwarven Stout]] and [[Asgarnian Ale]] are all purchasable from this bar for two coins each. An Asgarnian Ale and a empty beer glass spawns on the bar counter.<br />

In the pub's garden players must help the NPC [[Bernald]] during the [[Garden of Tranquillity]] quest by curing his grape vines.<br />

There is also a separate section of the pub in [[Burthorpe Games Room]]. The barmaid there is called [[Sam (barmaid)|Sam]], and she stocks the same drinks as the above ground pub, for the same price.<br />

On 9 November 2009 the remove roof feature for the Toad and Chicken Inn was corrected.<br />

The name might be a reference to a basilisk, which is said to hatch from a chicken's egg which a toad has incubated.<br />

The Toad and Chicken Inn was removed from the game on [[January 31]] [[2012]] in the Troll Warzone update. It was replaced by [[the Pick and Lute]] pub in Taverley.<br />
