'''Thorvar Crittersmash''' is the NPC who starts the [[2010 Christmas event]] and is found at [[Daemonheim]] next to the [[Rewards trader]]. During the event, you have to collect items that Thorvar left in a dungeon when he was attacked by a "ferocious creature" ([[Salty Claws]]). Also if you click on [[Thorvar's bucket]] while in the dungeon, you will witness a memory of Thorvar telling you that when the time comes, you will know what to do with the bucket. According to him, he is a [[Fremennik]], but at the end of the quest he reveals that he is in fact [[Santa Claus]].

After you complete the holiday event, he can teleport you to the [[Heimland Games]] and gives you the reward.

==Trivia==
*Thorvar is a [[Fremennik]] spoof of Father Christmas, as Santa is named in some countries, hence the similar sounding name.
*His laughing sound is the same as the previous Santa Claus, probably being a spoiler to his identity ''before'' the end of event.
*If you talk to the [[Thok]] and ask him whether he thinks that Thorvar is in fact Santa, he will say no, and his evidence will be that "He climbs through chimneys and into fireplaces, he is almost as strong as me".
*After the Christmas 2010 event, players who were still present at the Heimland Games would automatically be teleported out of the area, and Thorvar (though not present) will tell the player, "The Heimland Games are over! I do hope you enjoyed them!"
