The '''Thing under the bed''' is a creature that can be found under the [[Wise Old Man]]'s bed in [[Draynor Village]]. In [[pay-to-play]] worlds, players used to be able to help the [[Wise Old Man]] do small [[Wise Old Man/Tasks|tasks]], one of which was to fight the Thing under the bed.

Luckily, the monster is weak, and players should have little trouble disposing of it. If the player succeeds, they will be rewarded with [[Constitution]] experience. Although, it will deal a considerable amount of damage to level 3's.

Even if not assigned the task, players may still kick the bed, but nothing will happen. The Wise Old Man mentions that he thinks the Thing under the bed was scared into his house by the [[H.A.M.]] group.

After previous speculation, it has now been confirmed that the "thing" is in fact a [[goblin]].
