'''The Killer''' is an [[NPC]] who has been murdering sisters in the [[Abbey of St. Elspeth Citharede]] and must be caught during One Piercing Note. They are responsible for the murder on [[Sister Anna]] as well as others during the quest. They are able to access the Abbey through a secret tunnel in the kitchen. When the killer is seen after the second murder, they are believed to be an incarnation of the very [[The Ripper|Ripper]] itself. They do not kill the witness and simply flees.

==Identity==
During [[One Piercing Note]], the killer brutally murders [[Sister Elena]] and [[Sister Catherina]]. The player, [[Abbess Benita]] and troubadour [[Valerio]] create a plan to lure the killer to a new victim, [[Sister Cabbage]], and catch her in the act. The plan works and, after a small chase, the killer flees up into the abbey's clocktower, where she takes [[Sister Debora]] hostage. She takes off their mask, revealing herself to be [[Sister Anna]]. Sister Debora explains that Anna murdered [[Isabella]] and disguised her body as herself. She claims to be the spirit of [[Saint Elspeth]], killing those who go against the order's values, which in this case, is dancing. After she is stunned by the ring of the bell, [[Sister Debora]] manages to remove Anna's claws and throws them off the tower. The player then goes through a series of dialogue with Anna. In the end, she either gets kicked off the tower by The player, or jumps off herself.
