'''The Kendal''' is a [[monster]] from the ''[[Mountain Daughter]]'' [[Quests|quest]]. He is located to the Cave north of the [[Mountain Camp]], has a maximum hit of 90, and can only be killed during the quest or afterwards in the [[Dominion Tower]]. At first, the mountain people believe him to be [[The Kendal (God)|the Kendal]], one of their [[gods]]. However, he is in actuality merely a man in a suit. The [[player]] discovers the Kendal's secret after laughing at him and stating he looks like a man in a suit, the Kendal then exclaims "How did you find out!?". You can use [[ranged]] or [[magic]] to kill him, as there are a few skeletons around.<br />

Once the player kills the Kendal they obtain the [[Bearhead mask]] and are able to put the [[Hamal the Chieftain|chieftain]]'s daughter, [[Asleif]], to rest.<br />

The Kendal is fight-able as a class G boss monster in the [[Dominion Tower]] [[minigame]] if the player has completed [[Mountain Daughter]].<br />

==Strategy==<br />
It is an easy fight; you do not need a lot of [[food]] (unless you're a lower level), and, if you have [[protect from melee]], you need no food at all, but might wish to bring a [[prayer potion]]. Lower level players might want to use stab attacks, because it's The Kendal's weakness.<br />
<br />
Pures fighting the Kendal should have no problem, just bring enough [[tuna]] or similar food to heal from low hits such as 40's and 50's, also, if a pure doesn't want the extra [[prayer]] or [[attack]] [[experience]], they can kill the Kendal, take the mask and go back to whatever they were doing previously. The Kendal has extremely low life points and most reasonable 1 [[defence]] pures could kill him within about 30 seconds. It is good to note, however, that if the [[Bearhead]] is lost, it cannot be reclaimed unless the quest is completed.<br />
