==Usage==
This template exactly like [[Template:CiteNews]], with two exceptions. First, it is '''not''' a reference template in the sense that it does not create footnote-styled references. Instead, it creates the same text that {{t|CiteNews}} would as a non-reference. This is desirable if a certain news update is the source of the majority of an article, as having the same reference at the end of every sentence. Second, it does not have the "name" parameter, as this only applies to footnote-style references.

===Author===
The author of the news update. This usually appears at the bottom of the news post, before the "In Other News..." section.

===URL===
The full URL to the news post, including the <nowiki>http://</nowiki>. An archive of past news posts can be found [http://services.runescape.com/m=news/list.ws here].

===Title===
The title of the news post, found between the two arrow buttons at the top.

===Newsdate===
The date the news update was posted. Found next to the title between the two arrow buttons.

===Notes===
Optional. This parameter allows you to add text beginning one space after end end of the citation. Having no formatting (meaning you will have to format it yourself), this area can be used for anything you require.

===Date===
Leave this field as <nowiki>~~~~~</nowiki>, it will auotmatically be converted to the proper date and time format. When verifying the reference, delete whatever is provided and change it to <nowiki>~~~~~</nowiki>.
