It is sometimes difficult to buy ranging potions on the [[Grand Exchange]] even at a high price, because of demand by players training the [[Ranged]] skill. However, demand is not always constant, and sometimes the potions are available at or even below their average price.

This potion can be made into a [[Ranging flask]] by using at least six doses of it with a [[Potion flask]]. Players do not need a specific level to turn potions into flasks.

==Trivia==
*When a ranging potion is made, dwarf weed is combined with Wine of Zamorak. Though the Wine's graphic shows a jug, no jug is left behind after creating the potion. This is probably because it is automatically thrown away.
*Compared to attack, strength and defence potions, there is no super ranging potion, although there is an [[Extreme ranging]] potion, similar to [[magic potion]] and [[extreme magic]] potion.
