Players may buy the hood alongside the [[Strength cape]] from [[Sloane]] (or [[Yadech Strongarm]] after [[While Guthix Sleeps]]) at the [[Warriors&#039; Guild]] for 99,000 [[coins]], provided that they have level 99 Strength. The hood&#039;s counterpart, the Strength cape, however, provides moderate defensive stats and additionally has the ability to increase a player&#039;s Strength level from 99 to 100 temporarily. The hood is of a solid green, regardless of the number of skills in which a player has attained skill mastery. This is in contrast to the cape which receives a red trim on the sides the moment players reach level 99 in a different skill.<br /> <br /> While the hood is bought with the skillcape, it is not needed to perform the [[Skillcape (emote)|emote]] associated with it; the skillcape is the only essential item. Along the cape, the hood may be stored in the [[Cape rack]] of a [[player-owned house]].
