To obtain it, the player must kill either a [[Phrin shade]] or a [[Riyl shade]] and then burn its [[Shade remains|remains]] on a pyre. This is the best key a player can obtain from a phrin shade. The key may be used to enter the [[Shade catacombs]] and then open the correctly coloured chest. It will open a steel-framed chest with a crimson lock.
