These platelegs are more based on defensive stats rather than offensive stats, while Vesta's plateskirt is based on offensive stats. They may also be used to show signs of wealth.

These platelegs came out within the [[PvP worlds]] update. The non-corrupt version requires 78 Defence and lasts '''1 hour''' of combat. The [[Corrupt statius's platelegs|corrupt version]] requires 20 [[Defence]] and lasts for '''15 minutes''' of having it equipped.

Contrary to popular belief, this item does '''NOT''' degrade while using '''NON-COMBAT''' magic.
