'''Snakeskin boots''' are [[snakeskin armour]] worn in the [[Worn Equipment#Footwear Slot|footwear slot]] available to [[Pay-to-play|member]] [[Combat classes#Ranger|rangers]]. To wear snakeskin boots, a player must have 30 [[Ranged]] and 30 [[Defence]]. [[Pay-to-play|Members]] can also create snakeskin boots through the [[Crafting]] skill at level 45 from six [[snakeskin]]s, granting 30 Crafting [[experience]].

These boots are often worn by rangers who cannot afford [[Ranger boots]] (+8 range attack bonus) or [[Glaiven boots]] (+10 range attack bonus). Despite granting the third highest ranged attack bonus outside of [[Dungeoneering]], they only give +3 range attack. However, they cost a fraction of the price of Ranger and Glaiven boots, making them a very cost-effective alternative. Thus they are very commonly used in dangerous Player vs Player activities to minimise losses while providing a decent range attack bonus.
