A snake with a combat level of 35 can be found on Mos Le'Harmless. Their poison only deals 30 damage initially, so it is not dangerous to high-levelled players. Players should bring antipoisons if they choose to kill snakes.
Money-Making Strategy
High-levelled players can kill these snakes in front of Trouble Brewing as their hides usually sell for 2k+ each, and they are relatively easy to kill. Within an hour, a player can kill about 180-200 snakes, which can result in a gain of 360-400k/hr. Luckily, there is a bank deposit box only squares away from the snake respawn locations, which is why many players decide to use this as a primary money making technique. Warning: If you choose to use this money making technique, be reminded that these snakes are poisonous (poison starts at 30 life points), so players should take several full antipoisons or super antipoisons - A 4-dose super antipoison will provide 24 minutes of immunity so take as many as you will need for the time you plan to spend there. It is recommended that all players bring 15 lobsters per trip (fewer if wearing Guthans set). There are Jungle horrors that can accurately deal damage in the 70s and 80s, so watch out for them. If for some reason you cannot afford lobsters, tuna is a cost effective alternative. Also a Spirit terrorbird can be helpful to store food in. Another good tactic is to bring the Prayer Book from The Great Brain Robbery quest and a Holy Symbol to heal your poison. If using this method, replace your antipoisons with Prayer potions, and bring a Holy Wrench from the Rum Deal quest so your potions restore more prayer. With this method, high level players could stay for long periods of time. However, this is far more expensive to then using antipoisons, and far more tedious as the prayer book does not offer temporary immunity. There are some spots especially near the Trouble Brewing deposit box where there are no Jungle Horrors and a couple of snakes. So with high level armour like Dragon or Barrows, you could stay even longer. If they buy an anti-poison totem from dungeoneering, players can bank here for hours.
Trivia
*The examine text on poisonous snakes may be a reference to the game Metal Gear Solid, as when you die on the game, sometimes the characters will shout "Snake! Snaaaaake!"
*If you bring a holy symbol and the prayer book from The Great Brain Robbery you can recite to get rid of poison instead of carrying anti poison potions (Recite takes away 10 prayer points) Players may want to bring prayer potions with them and perhaps even the holy wrench to stay for prolonged amounts of time. In fact, you might even sustain your stay indefinitely if you have a high defence level combined with a relatively high prayer.
*Interestingly, when the poisonous snake poisons you, or whilst you are poisoned, it will attack with its mouth open instead of closed.
