A '''Sheepdog''' is a pet that can be bought from any pet store for 500 [[coins]]. It is a non-combat pet that simply follows the player around. It has two stages, puppy and adult. Sheepdogs come in three different colours: light grey, dark grey and brown. Players need level 4 Summoning to buy a sheepdog puppy. The Sheepdog is very slow to mature: it takes five minutes to grow by 1%, therefore in total it takes eight and a third hours to become full-grown. Note that the puppy will not grow if stored in the Inventory or Bank but only when being walked. Sheepdogs eat raw meat, but not fish or chicken or bird. At level 14 Summoning, players can talk to the sheepdog. The Sheepdog appears to be based on the Bearded Collie or Old English Sheepdog.<br />
