The '''Seeping elm trap''' is a trap used in the [[Dungeoneering]] skill. To make one, a player must use a [[Knife (Dungeoneering)|knife]] on a set of [[Sleeping elm branches]] with level 13 [[fletching]]. You must have 10 [[Hunter]] to use this trap. This trap, as well as other traps, is used to hunt [[mastyxes]] in [[Daemonheim]]. Once laid, the mastyx will stick its head in the trap and will be decapitated. You will then be given an option to skin the corpse. You must have a knife in your inventory to do this, and it will yield several hides. This item is meant to trap a [[Protomastyx]] or a [[Submastyx]], but it can also trap mastyxes with a higher tier number.<br />

When this trap is placed, the name becomes submastyx trap instead of seeping elm trap.<br />
