To plant the seed, use the seed on the [[plant pot]] while a [[trowel]] is in your inventory.<br /> <br /> Seedlings grow into [[sapling]]s approximately 5 minutes after being watered with a [[watering can]]. Both appear identical to filled [[plant pot]]s, and the only way to visually determine whether or not a seedling has been watered is to attempt to water it again. Watered seedlings move to the first space available in [[inventory]] and show &quot;...has been sown and watered in this pot&quot; versus &quot;...has been sown in this pot.&quot;<br /> <br /> Planting a seed in a [[plant pot]] requires the appropriate [[Farming]] level required to plant the [[sapling]] in the relevant [[Farming/Patch locations|tree patch]]. You cannot [[assist System|assist]] a player to help them plant a seedling that is higher than their [[Farming]] level, although [[temporary skill boost]]s like a [[Garden pie]] do work.<br /> <br /> Oddly, there is no [[Farming]] level requirement to water any seedling, but as seedlings are non-tradeable there is no real benefit to this except for a player who is trying to plant as many seedlings as possible while under the highest level gain of a temporary skill boost like a [[spicy stew]]. Keep in mind, however, that you will need two separate boosts: one to plant the seedling, and later one to plant the [[sapling]].<br /> <br /> Seedlings may be deposited into a [[bank]] and grow into [[sapling]]s while stored. If unable to find a seedling that you have deposited, check Tab 1.
