The '''Sea Slug Conflicts''' are a series of ongoing wars waged by [[Mother Mallum]], a [[Sea Slug]] of unknown origins, and a variety of forces, most prominently the [[Temple Knights]]. The conflicts ended for some time in roughly Year 2000 of the [[God Wars|Third Age]], but resumed in Year 169 of the [[Fifth Age]], more than 4,000 years later.

The majority of the Sea Slug Conflicts took place during the God Wars. Taking advantage of the chaotic war that engulfed [[Gielinor]], Mother Mallum used her forces to corrupt, control, and combat virtually any significant force they could find. The goal ultimately seems to have been nothing short of complete world-domination. After being sealed within an underground cave network by the Temple Knights in Year 2000 of the Third Age, Mallum and her forces fell into a deep hibernation.

In the Year 169 of the Fifth Age, Mallum's bizarre species of slug re-emerged in the [[Southern Sea]], taking the [[Kandarin]] [[Fishing Platform]] with no resistance. They moved on to [[Witchaven]], near [[East Ardougne]], and their current plans remain unknown. The modern portion of the Sea Slug Conflicts is featured heavily in the [[Sea Slug quest series]].
