The '''Saradomin bow,''' along with the [[Zamorak bow]] and [[Guthix bow]], was released on [[Update:Elite Treasure Trails and New Rewards|4 August 2010]] as part of the Elite Treasure Trails update it can only be obtained as a reward from Elite (Level 4) [[Treasure Trail]]s. It requires 55 range to use.

Wielding it gives a Ranged bonus of +80, almost as high as that of the [[Rune crossbow]]. The [[God bows]] also give a slight Prayer bonus of +4, making them the only bows to provide a Prayer bonus ([[Zanik's crossbow]] has a [[Prayer]] penalty of -5).

This bow has a special attack, called "Restorative Shot", which deals the normal amount of damage and heals for 2x the amount of damage dealt over 60 seconds, taking 55% of the special attack bar. The special attack of the Saradomin bow is similar to the Saradomin Godsword's special attack.

This special attack heals 20% of the original hit every 6 seconds (10 [[Tick|game ticks]]), resulting in the full heal taking one minute. For example, If you were to hit 200, you would be healed 40 life points every 6 seconds; the entire one minute duration of the effect would heal you 400, twice the original hit.

==Trivia==
*This bow increases the chance of bonus damage caused by [[Saradomin arrows|Saradomin Arrows]], from 10% to 20%.
*There used to be a glitch in which the G.E shows that the Saradomin bow can fire arrows up to iron, while the knowledge base stated it can fire arrows up to dragon. Both are incorrect; it has been confirmed in the recent update FAQ that it can fire arrows up to rune. It also fires [[Saradomin arrows]], [[Guthix arrows]], and [[Zamorak arrows]].
