'''Sap Mage''' is an [[Ancient Curses|Ancient Curse]] unlocked after [[The Temple at Senntisten]]. It is used in the same way as normal prayers, although you must pray at the altar beneath the [[Digsite]] in order to switch to the Ancient Curses. When activated, this prayer will randomly lower your opponent's Magic and Defence by 10%, increasing to 20% over time. The Defence drain is able to stack with [[Sap Warrior]] and [[Sap Ranger]].<br />

Note that this curse [[Magic]] drain will not work on an enemy that doesn't use [[Magic]]. However the curse will still drain the enemies [[Defence]].<br />
