Fletching a hardened root grants 5 shafts. Creating the shafts gives no [[Fletching]] experience. To make shafts into [[Sagaie]], players must use a [[mutated vine]] on the shafts. This gives 40 Fletching experience per shaft. A fletching level of 83 is required to make the shafts.<br /> <br /> The material for the shafts (straight roots) must be collected in the [[Jadinko Lair]] and the roots also must be fired in the lair to make hardened straight roots.
