*The Rusty Scimitar along with the [[Rusty sword]] was collected by people who wanted to try their luck, but because the [[Rusty sword]] could be turned into a [[Rune sword]], the [[Rusty sword]] was a better option for money rather than the Rusty Scimitar.
*This item may be fixed on a POH whetstone. When doing this, you can fail and break the rusty scimitar.
*The type of sword produced from the whetstone depends on your [[Crafting]] level: 1-10 bronze, 11-20 iron, etc. NOTE this only raises the percent of you getting the sword you want, if you are level 1 Crafting you still can obtain a Mithril scimitar but your chances are slim to none.
