'''Roger Murray''' is an NPC involved with [[Court Cases]]. He was assaulted by [[Mugger (level: 6)|a mugger]] whose punishment will be decided in the "tutorial" of [[Court Cases]]. Roger has a reputation in [[Edgeville]], where he is known as a poor and unlucky gambler. His fingerprint is almost the same as his attacker's.

The first time the player takes on a court case they will be presented with the case between Murray and [[Mugger (level: 6)|the mugger]]. Roger alleges that he was assaulted by the mugger and was robbed of his earnings from a gamble he had been involved in. It is unknown whether Murray actually managed to win the bet to claim his earnings or whether after the alleged assault he claimed he had been stolen from to "get compensation" for his injuries.

It is revealed that Murray has been involved with the Edgeville guards before, with the guard called as a witness in [[Court Cases]] claiming he is not the most trustworthy people he has met and was often reluctant to give information to the law. Should the player complete his case successfully they will be rewarded with 2000 [[attack]] or [[defence]] [[xp]] depending on whether they choose to prosecute on his behalf or to defend the mugger.
