The '''Ravenous vampyre''' appears at [[Fairy ring]] ALQ in the [[Haunted Woods]] east of [[Canifis]] when the player is on a [[Slayer/Challenges|Slayer challenge]] assigned by [[Mazchna]] or [[Achtryn]]. For the challenge, the player must be near the ring and must contact Mazchna or Achtryn using an [[Enchanted gem]]. The monster will then drop from the sky into the centre of the ring and attack the player.
