Their tails are most commonly used for the completion of the [[Witch's Potion]] [[miniquest]], and they are one of the weakest creatures in ''RuneScape''. Rats do not drop [[bones]], except the rats in the [[Stronghold of Security]]. Curiously enough, rats never drop bones anywhere else. They are good for training on as they have low defence, (so you can hit more accurately and get faster xp), and [[respawn]] in a second or two, but they can be hard to click as they're small and moving very fast. A rat has very low life points, as well as defence, which make these very easy to kill. <br />
