Their purpose is to help players create games more easily. The boots prevent the wearer from moving until after a friends chat member uses the [[Starting horn]]. The [[Master of Races]] will announce "Ready!", "Set!", "Go!" and blow a whistle to allow players to move again in order to start a race. A player cannot move if he/she is wearing these boots and blows the horn.
